If you are a teen in 7th grade thru 12th grade and wish to volunteer, this is the place for you!  Our current volunteer needs are:

Reading Buddies :  (Begins in January 2022). Reading Buddies is a free program that brings children and teen volunteers together to share the joy of reading. This 6 week program, provides service hours to teens, while helping children in kindergarten through third grade increase their vocabulary, practice social skills, and build reading confidence.   If you are interested you will get 6 service hours if you complete the entire 6 week program.  Click here to fill out the volunteer form:

Tuesday at 4pm.

Citizen science club:

In this program, children who have an interest in scientist will become a citizen scientist.  It is a  movement to make a difference in the world.  In this club, using a smartphone or tablet, we will observe and record information for scientists around the world. We will do this to help address local and global problems.

This program is for children up to 6th grade.  Teens can volunteer to help for service hours.  You will help show children how to upload a picture on an app and answer a few questions about their observation.  If this sounds good to you, sign up to make a difference!  You can also participate in this program, after you help your assigned scientist.

Program 2:  Clouds  Wednesday:  Oct 27, Nov. 3, Nov.10, 2021.

Please come to library at 4:00 to set up/training of the app we use.
